Over the summer, I spent a lot of time working on products in my teachers pay teachers store. One of the projects I was working on is a set of lullaby posters for decorating a nursery. I was so excited to finish the lullaby set in time for my due date. Now, it’s time to decorate the nursery! (if you haven’t seen my lullaby poster set, you can click on the link below to be taken to my store).

After I had my baby a few weeks ago, I decided to take a break from my blog while focusing on our newest addition. I’m always surprised by how quickly the first few weeks fly by. I love the newborn stage, and it passes so quickly. It’s hard to believe I’m now the mother of three boys!
We are still trying to figure out our new normal, but so far the transition from two to three has been easier than I imagined. I think the hardest part has been figuring out new routines, like bedtime or getting to/from the car. We’ll probably be figuring those things out for a while, I have a feeling!
Some of my favorite things for baby:
- sound machine (love having this for toddler’s naptime, as well!)
- sleep sacks (I am really bad at swaddling, so these are a great option)
- nursing pillows (I found the “my brestfriend” brand easier to use than the boppy nursing pillows)
One of the things that has made the transition easier has been freezer meals. I decided to do a wildtree freezer meals workshop a few weeks before having the baby, and I am so glad I did! We had many friends sign up to bring us meals during the first couple of weeks, but since then, I have just been choosing which meals we will eat from my freezer meals collection. It’s been great! We still have quite a few meals left. If you’re having a baby, I highly recommend putting together freezer meals for after the baby is born to help you ease into your new routines.
As we are getting used to our new routines, I plan to be posting about once a week and also working on holiday projects for my store. I’m looking forward to sharing more about the products as I get them finished!
