December is here! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and was able to make wonderful memories with their loved ones!
I’ve seen a lot of holiday shopping lists online, and decided I would put together my own list .
Here are a few of my favorites gift ideas for 2015:
Music: Slugs & Bugs- I first heard of Slugs and Bugs by a friend on facebook a few months ago. The music is geared for children, but you might find yourself singing along and loving it, too! The music is catchy, and the lyrics are very creative. They have a Sing the Bible Cd out, which is a great way to help with memorizing Bible verses. They are also releasing their Sing the Bible 2 cd later this year. I just ordered their Slugs and Bugs Christmas album, and can’t wait to get it! You can read more about them on the Slugs and Bugs website
Toys: Munchkin Mozart Music Cube- we have an older version of this cube, but it is a really popular toy at our house. My three year old loves how he can look at the pictures and then choose which instrument plays.
Dramatic Play: Melissa & Doug Stamp and Sort Mailbox– we love Melissa & Doug toys at our house. They are great quality, and so much fun. This mailbox is perfect for incorporating dramatic play into your day. There are different sizes of letters and postcards, along with stamps, for children to sort and place in the correct slot of the mailbox. It even comes with a key to open the mailbox!
Books- Books are always a favorite! Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is one of my favorite books for ages 3-6. It’s great for letter practice, and it provides lots of silly fun! Check out pinterest for all sorts of craft ideas to do along with the book.
Is there anything else you would add for Christmas 2015? I’d love to hear any ideas you have in the comments section!
